As some of you may have noticed there have been some new developments at St. Marks Medical Centre; a creation of a new corridor, creation of a new consultation room and a brand new Self-Check in screen.
The cost of the stage 1 developments was around £40,000; NHS England Primary Care Infrastructure Fund has contributed with a grant of £21,739 towards these costs. Without the new consultation room being created we would have not been able to employ a new Doctor and provide more appointments/ access.
We are very pleased with these improvements at St. Marks. This is only Stage 1 of the developments, stage 2 will commence in the New Year and will involve renovating the entire ground floor to match the rest of the new design and specifications. This will include; newly refurbished consultation rooms and reception area to improve patients' experience. We are very much looking forward to the completion of these improvements.
